Functions according to their type

The functions of an application depend on its purpose, according to which they can be classified into two categories:

- Basic program (or utility):

These are applications whose purpose is to improve, in some way, the performance of the computer.

File compression: Winrar, winzip, power iso.

Software recovery: Restore accidentally deleted files. Example: Recover My Files, Recuva, TestDisk, Photorec, Pandora Recovery, among others.

 

- Productivity Programs: These are applications whose purpose is to facilitate, accelerate and improve user, the execution of certain tasks.
